What is a Refurbished Tent?

EUREKA! FACTORY OUTLET PRODUCT CLASSIFICATION

What does refurbished Eureka! product mean?

As the manufacturer of our high quality camping tents we take back from our retail stores their excess inventory and returned product. These items are thoroughly inspected by our quality team to determine the nature and severity of the returned item. All items are inspected for quality, functionality and level of repair needed to refurbish the product and bring it back to an acceptable level of performance. All tents that are deemed unacceptable and un-repairable are immediately destroyed. Tents are sorted and our expert repair and parts departments recondition each tent by repairing fabrics, adding clips tabs etc and replacing parts. Our goal is the re-establish the functionality of each tent as close to its original manufacturing specs as possible. It is important to note that refurbished can mean not new and these tents could have varying degrees of wear and cleanliness.

Definition of classifications:

A Class: Factory second, these products may have factory blemishes or be flawed but are still fully functional. These tents in most cases never made it to a retailer's shelf. They are classified as factory seconds and flawed in some way making them unacceptable by Eureka! Standards to sell as "new" product.

B Class: Refurbished tents, used and or displayed tent models. These tents will be in many cases "used" but for a variety of reasons have been returned to the retail store. All these tents are returned to Eureka! and refurbished by our experts and returned to an acceptable level of performance in order that they function again. They may lack cleanliness and be worn from use.

Customer Satisfaction:

We strive to make each tent fully functional and will support it after the sale should it not be. We will not be able to apply our original new product manufactures warranty to these tents.
